JustBind

Draft for review · Nigeria

Privacy policy

Understand what you share, what visitors can see, and the choices available to you.

Updated 26 October 2026

Before launch: the operator’s legal name and support/privacy contact are still to be added. These draft pages need review and completion before being used as final policies.

Who is responsible

JustBind is being prepared for operation in Nigeria. The legal operator’s identity and privacy contact have not yet been supplied. This notice must be completed with those details before launch.

If a business publishes your details, that business is also responsible for its decision to share them. Contact the business directly to request a correction or for questions about its use of your information.

Information used by the product

The product stores account identifiers and sessions, business names and logos, and the information added to cards: names, titles, phone numbers, emails, websites, WhatsApp numbers, introductions, and optional photos or documents.

Importing a vCard reads supported fields into the editor for review. The original vCard is not retained as an uploaded attachment. Information imported into the form is stored when you save it.

Why information is used

Information is used to maintain account access, manage your cards, display published pages, create QR codes and contact files, and deliver uploaded documents.

Before launch, the operator must document the lawful basis for each use, including account administration, public sharing, security logs, and any optional communications. This draft does not assume that one consent covers every use.

What becomes public

When a card is published, its displayed details, images, links, and attached document can be accessed by anyone with the public URL. Other people may forward that URL or retain downloaded copies.

Drafts do not reveal card content publicly. Paused and archived pages show an unavailable message and stop serving the card’s images, document, and contact file. Search-engine exclusion is requested, but a public link is not an access restriction.

Providers and international transfers

The final production hosting and sign-in providers, the information they process, and their processing locations must be listed before launch. Google sign-in and Cloudflare hosting are planned; the current development version does not yet represent that completed deployment.

The operator must assess and document any international data transfers and the applicable safeguards before production use.

Storage and retention

Saved cards and attachments remain available in the account. Pausing or archiving hides content without deleting it. Replacing a document removes its old stored file after the replacement is saved. Discarding a draft removes its stored files while keeping its public id retired.

Sessions expire 14 days after creation and sign-out removes the active session. The final retention schedule for accounts, inactive cards, backups, logs, and deletion requests still needs to be set. Full account deletion is not currently available in the interface.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances and applicable Nigerian data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or transfer your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent where it is relied on. The operator must provide a working contact and request process before launch.

You can also raise a privacy complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Its official guidance explains privacy information and data-subject rights.

Cookies and changes

Read the cookie policy for the current sign-in cookie and browser controls. No invitee analytics or marketing tracking has been implemented in this version.

This notice must be updated when the operator, providers, or processing practices change. The date at the top identifies this draft’s last revision.
